MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Interim CEO, David Faulkner

David Faulkner served as interim CEO from January of 2018 to October of 2020, successfully guiding the hospital through a financial crisis as well as construction of the new building.
Now, as Interim CEO, he is focused on ensuring stability and forward motion, with a keen eye on opportunities for continued improvement at every level.

Our EXECUTIVE team

Ming Huang, CFO

Ming’s responsibilities include budget management, billing, patient accounts, financial reporting, payroll, vendor payments, and cost analysis.

Sheila Adams, CNO

Sheila is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic plans for provision of excellent and patient-centric nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to all who seek care.

ZacharY Heard

Patient Experience Officer

As the Patient Experience Officer (PXO), Zach manages and analyzes the feedback received from patients, families, and visitors to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Lisa Boston

Chief Quality & Compliance Officer

Lisa oversees quality, compliance, risk management, and HIPAA. She also assists in developing our contract management system.

Aaron Dow

Chief Information Officer

Aaron and his Information Systems team support and maintain on-premise servers and 800+ communication devices for 300+ staff as well as the specialized software needed to run each department.

OUR GOVERNANCE COMMISSION & BOARD

SVH joint powers commission The SVH Joint Powers Commission (JPC) is Sierra Vista Hospital and Clinics’ owner. The Commission’s role is to approve property purchase and sale and to appoint the Governing Board members. The twelve voting members are comprised of elected officials from four local governments - three County Commissioners from Sierra County, three City Commissioners from the City of Truth or Consequences, three City Councilors from the City of Elephant Butte, and three Board of Trustee Members from the Village of Williamsburg. In addition, the Hospital Administrator, the Village of Williamsburg Clerk, the Truth or Consequences City Manager, the Elephant Butte City Manager, and the Sierra County Manager serve as the five Ex-officio JPC Members.

SVH GOVERNING BOARD The nine-members of the SVH Governing Board serve three-year terms, with responsibility for operational and budgetary oversight as well as Hospital Administrator/Professional Services contractual agreements. The four local governments that comprise the JPC appoint Governing Board Members as follows: Sierra County appoints three, the City of Truth or Consequences appoints three, the City of Elephant Butte appoints two, and the Village of Williamsburg appoints one. The Hospital Administrator and the Chief Administrative Officers of Sierra County, The City of Truth or Consequences, the City of Elephant Butte, and the Village of Williamsburg, serve as the five Ex-officio Members of the Governing Board.
