Sierra Vista Hospital is a 15-bed facility certified by Medicare and Federal programs. We are owned by a combination of public bodies, thus making us a true ‘community’ hospital. The commissions that represent the ownership also appoint a Governing Body made up of local residents who have unique interests in our hospital and its success. We are fortunate to have interested parties that support a foundation and a very active Development Office that sustains our efforts to build a new facility. Our Auxiliary volunteers are devoted supporters with their efforts as well.
We offer a variety of services for a small facility: We have Medical and Emergency Services, as well as the Ancillary services necessary to support the different areas of care that we provide. The Ancillary Services consist of Laboratory, Radiology to include CAT Scans, Mammography, Ultrasound, and more. We have itinerant services for Vascular Studies and MRI
Our services includes Sierra Vista Community Health Center that provides for primary care on campus where patients can get the services they need for quality care. Our support staff work with great dedication to provide for the Hospital’s mission.
Sierra Vista Hospital also realizes our commitment to those who have emotional issues. We have a fully staffed Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic. Our qualified staff offer the necessary support and referrals to our clients so that they may enjoy a quality life.We also provide Crisis Intervention through our ER.
We are one of the few hospitals to own and provide an Ambulance/EMS system to service the community. This talented and dedicated staff integrates into our Hospital through Emergency Services.
While we have competition for staff recruitment, in part due to our location and size, our current Hospital staff has quality, integrity and compassion. We are always seeking physicians and clinical staff to augment our contingent.
Sierra Vista Hospital is supported by a very active and multiplicity of volunteers.
* First, a Development Board to assit in building and supporting a new facility,
* Second, a Foundation that operates a Thrift Store and has fund raising events to purchase smaller equipment needs for the Hospital,
* Third, a long time Auxilliary functioning in the Hospital giving multiple hours to our success.
If you are considering relocation or a visit to our area, I would encourage you to come for a visit.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. I wish you good tidings.
