18501 (open date 01/01/13) Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Full time positions. Provided professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Must have ACLS, PALS, and TNCC 95301 (open date 01/01/13) LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – Full time positions. Responsible for assisting with a variety of clinical functions of the clinic. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a nurse and/or physician. 17501 (open date 03/18/13) Surgical Services Circulating Registered Nurse – Full time position. Provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Responsible for the processing and sterilization of supplies, equipment and instruments used by the operating room, following established infection control practices. Prepares case carts for the next day’s surgery schedule; prepares case carts for emergency surgeries. Delivers equipment/instruments/supplies to the operating room as needed. Responsible for assisting with a variety of clinical functions of the clinic. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a nurse and/or physician. 05001 (open date 03/26/13) Physical Therapist and/or Occupational Therapist– Full time, non-exempt position. Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department. Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines. Ensures that patient changes are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Supervises office operations and clinic staff of both clinics. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the office/clinic. Keeps the physician(s) informed of both progress and potential problems. Responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery. Monitors billing, collections, insurance payments and accounts payable.
